Guar Gum Meal
Guar meal is an important ingredient in cattle feed. Both guar gum and guar meal are
extracted from the seeds of the same plant. However, the gum form of extract is used for
its many properties, including viscosifier, thickener, binder, gelling agent, stabilizer,
emulsifier, flocculant, and water holding ingredient. Meal form is preferred in animal feed
preparations due to its high protein content. Aside from being a reliable and safe
ingredient for animals, this product contains 55% protein (O+A) and digesting content.
